The OTHS Music Department...

Is proud to serve as a highlight of the Ottawa Township High School community. Both the choir and band programs are part of a rich history spanning many decades, including numerous state competition trophies, many students representing OTHS at ILMEA District and All-State, and many beloved traditions. Students interested in being a part of the music department have a few classes and extracurricular opportunities to choose from. Instrumental music ensembles available to students include Symphonic Band and Wind Ensemble. These ensembles combine in the fall to become the OTHS Marching Band, and in the winter to become Pep Band. Vocal music ensembles include Concert Choir, Treble Choir, and Crimson Choir. Other music classes include Music Theory and (coming soon!) Music Production. Outside of class, students may participate in Jazz Band, Overboard (contemporary pop a cappella ensemble), and the Fall Musical.
